Our Perth office is temporarily closed to the public but our work continues

26 Mar 2020

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) remains open for business while in-person services are temporarily suspended in Perth.

Ahpra has temporarily closed its Perth office at 541 Hay St, Subiaco. The building in which the Ahpra office is located was closed to all tenants as of 5pm AWST on 25 March as a precaution given the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

Ahpra is an essential service and we remain open. Please contact Ahpra on 1300 419 495 or contact us online to make alternative arrangements.

While the Perth office was closed due to extenuating circumstances, we are moving to remote working to be able to continue our important services as social distancing measures are increased. We’re finalising other ways for practitioners to provide documents to us so they don’t need to present in person at our offices.

This includes changes to present in person requirements and the ability to upload forms online or email them to Registration staff. These will be in place within the next few business days.

Like many organisations we need to restrict face-to-face interactions to protect us all and enable us to keep providing services during the COVID-19 outbreak. We’re doing our bit to help flatten the curve so our health system can cope and people get the care they need.

We hope to reopen our Perth office as soon as possible. We’ll continue to publish updates for practitioners on the COVID-19 updates page of our website.
